A little about me...

My motivation to serve: 
I absolutely love my career with New York Life and NYLIFE Securities LLC as a Financial Services Professional, where I’ve served my clients since 2014. Prior to joining New York Life, I served in a very different role. My career was in the law enforcement, serving first as a 911 operator and dispatcher for over a decade and then as a sworn law enforcement officer/detective and detective sergeant with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department for over eleven years. I am also a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, following in my father’s footsteps, a WWII Marine Corps ranger. In the Corps, I fine-tuned the core values of honor, courage, and commitment, which still guide me today.  
Like all of us, I have faced my own challenges throughout life. However, I was very fortunate to receive amazing guidance from my strong family and dynamic mentors when I needed it most and as a result, I have a strong desire to return that service and guidance to others. I’ve been in the volunteer community throughout my life and I currently enjoy volunteering on multiple nonprofit boards and connecting with others through local chambers of commerce.  
My educational background: 
I earned my BA in Sociology from the University of Florida as well as my MBA. I’ve earned my life insurance and annuities licenses and FINRA Series 6 and 63 securities registrations. Today, I continue to educate myself in the financial arena through the American College of Financial Services, where I'm currently working on completing my Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) certification so I can continue to serve my clients in the most effective ways possible. 
How I conduct business with you: 
Each and every one of us has our own dreams and our own individual definitions of success and happiness. I always look forward to meeting new clients and their families to get to know each other and to assist them with personalized solutions to long term financial aspirations.  
Without a holistic review of your current finances and goals, selling you a random product you think may satisfy a need is like going on an unfamiliar road trip without a map. We may or may not successfully reach your financial destination with the money you’ve invested. This is why knowing the full picture is so important to me. This enables me to see where you’re already well covered or overcovered and where we need to focus moving forward. 
Periodic reviews, regular communication to let you know about changes in the economy, and learning from you about any changes in your life that require an adjustment of your plans are all essential. This helps ensure that you arrive at the end of your journey at the right destination. Remember, it's my job to help you achieve your happiness in your own unique way.
